Every product and service featured on SG Best Picks goes through a structured evaluation process. We combine hands-on testing, expert analysis, and real-user feedback to produce rankings you can trust.
Step 1 — Research
We survey the market, identify the leading options in each category, and shortlist candidates based on popularity, availability in Singapore, and feature set.
Step 2 — Hands-On Testing
Our editorial team tests each product against a consistent set of criteria: value for money, build quality, ease of use, after-sales support, and local availability.
Step 3 — Scoring
Each product receives a score from 1 to 10 across five dimensions. The weighted average determines its final ranking position.
Step 4 — Ongoing Updates
Lists are revisited at least once per quarter. Price changes, new releases, and reader feedback trigger re-evaluations.
Editorial Independence
